Opening Doors

May 13, 2017

Today, on May 13, we celebrate World Fair Trade Day with this year's theme of “Opening Doors.” World Fair Trade Day is an inclusive worldwide festival of events and actions celebrating fair trade’s contribution to the fight against poverty, exploitation, and climate change.

Fair trade opens doors of opportunity for artisans across the globe and particularly in the Global South, providing access to better wages and new markets for their goods that support sustainable livelihoods and more! Help us champion the good that comes from establishing right relationships in trade. Open your community’s doors by sharing the stories of fair trade producers and welcoming into your home beautiful, one-of-a-kind goods crafted by skilled hands.
