In Love with Lavender

July 08, 2016

Something we love about summer is fields of lavender! Depending on the variety, lavender is blooming now through August. If you’ve got it growing in your garden, then you know how fragrant and relaxing a scent it is. No wonder it’s been used for centuries in both medicinal and decorative ways. When about one-third to one-half of the flowers have opened, harvest lavender bouquets in the late morning hours after dew has evaporated. Bundle and hang upside down to dry. Find a multitude of creative uses on our new Love for Lavender Pinterest Board.

No garden of your own? Give these good buys a try to enjoy the fresh, clean scent of lavender in your home year-round!

Lavender & Bergamot Sleep Balm
We swear by this balm that naturally quiets the thoughts and effectively transitions to sleep without the use of a chemical sleep aid. Just rub a little on the temples or anywhere that needs a little soothing, and breathe it in.

Lavender Hand & Body Bar
Triple milled shea butter soap with lavender is soothing to your skin and senses, gentle on our environment. Also, if you don’t have sachets of dried lavender from your garden, instead tuck these bars into your dresser drawers to get a fresh outdoors, line-dried scent to your wardrobe.

Majorelle Rice Bowl Candles
Our best-selling, Moroccan-inspired lantern pattern is sure to bring a relaxing glow to any room. Each now comes poured with a soy-blend wax, with a crisp, summer scent made from lavender and citrus essential oils.
