Peppermint Patty in a Cup

Try this twist on a peppermint hot chocolate, contributed by Andrew Driscoll, natural foods sales representative for Equal Exchange.

4 cups water
5 bags Equal Exchange organic peppermint tea
1 cup Equal Exchange organic hot cocoa
½ cup half and half

Bring water to a near boil. Steep the five bags of peppermint tea in the water for four to five minutes, then take out. Add the hot cocoa and half and half, turn heat on low and stir until fully dissolved and heated. Serve with an optional mint garnish and enjoy!
