It's socks week here at the Good Buy, and today we're posting about the third pillar in Mitscoots' "get + give + employ" model.

Here's a quick aerial view of the packaging process.
 Working with a number of placement agencies and shelters in the Austin, Texas, area, Mitscoots works to make its vision of getting individuals off the street and into steady employment into a reality. It would have been easier and cheaper to machine package socks, but they decided the handwork was worth it to provide new jobs. As Mitscoots says: "A lot of heart goes into each pair of socks." Indeed.
