United By Blue Cleanups in Your Area

March 10, 2015

United By Blue (UBB) is a company focused on ocean and waterway conservation. They use their business as a way to have a tangible and measurable impact on one of the most pressing environmental issues facing our planet: ocean and waterway pollution. Beginning in 2010, UBB set out with a simple and meaningful approach to conservation.

For every product sold, UBB removes one pound of trash from oceans and waterways through company-organized and -hosted cleanups.

So far, UBB has hosted 116 cleanups and removed over 200,000 pounds of trash from rivers, streams, creeks, and beaches across 21 U.S. states. Want to go beyond making a purchase and try volunteering? Check out their page with information on how to sign up for upcoming cleanups on the Delaware River, Meadow Lake, Conococheague Creek, and other waterways this spring.
