Reduce Reliance on Plastic

One Green Planet recently featured a post with an alarming headline: "700 Marine Species Might Go Extinct Because of Plastic Pollution." The impact on marine ecosystems is staggering. 

Many of our thorniest environmental problems seem overwhelming and insurmountable, which can lead to paralysis — we just throw our hands up and do nothing about it. A better way: start with personal plastic consumption and take some concrete steps as an individual. With time, you can help others to make better choices too.
