Green Beans with Pecans

Want to add a little pizzazz to a regular side dish in a pinch? After boiling or steaming green beans, toss them in a saucepan on medium heat for a minute or two with a teaspoon of olive oil or butter and fresh, chopped fair-trade Southern Alternatives pecans. Want a little sweetness? Try the sugar and spice variety. Omit the butter or oil and let the sugar and cinnamon melt and caramelize a bit over the beans.
