Spice It Up!

November 03, 2014

We've created a board on Pinterest with all things spice to provide inspiration for your next foray into the kitchen. Don't you just love the color variety of whole spices when they're freshly ground? Expand your cooking repertoire by trying some spices that are less common to Western palates, like savory ras al hanout, a Moroccan spice blend that contains coriander, cumin, cardamom, fennel seeds, black peppercorns, turmeric, cinnamon, paprika, and salt. Sure to bring your dish to a whole new level! We also can't get enough of Canaan Fair Trade's za'atar. Most people are familiar with thyme, but add some sesame seeds and serve in premium olive oil for dipping bread (or bake it right into the bread!), and you've got a snack or appetizer that you won't soon forget.

Happy cooking!
